Our doctors are pleased to be able to offer beautiful smiles to their neighbors in Ypsilanti and the surrounding communities.
Laith Alsamerai, DDS, graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2013, after he graduated from the University of Baghdad School of Dentistry in 1999. He has practiced dentistry in Iraq, Jordan, and the United States for over 16 years; he’s been practicing dentistry in the Jackson area for over 7 years. Dr. A, as many of his patients call him, believes in providing the best treatment for his patients. Treating patients from different cultures provides him with a deeper understanding of his patients’ dental concerns and allows him to offer a range of creative solutions.
Dr. A moved to the United States in 2008 with his wife Teba, who’s also a dentist, seeking personal freedom and safety with hope for a brighter future for them and their kids. They have lived in Michigan since 2011. He is a member of American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and Washtenaw District Dental Society.
Dr. Alsamerai belongs to a family of dentists and doctors. His siblings practice in Canada, Australia, and the United States. He and his wife have two sons (Hasan and Mustafa). In his free time, he enjoys traveling and playing sports with his boys.

Dr. Rashid is highly dedicated to ongoing education and acquiring new knowledge and experience in order to offer her patients the best dental care possible. Dr. Rashid treats every patient with compassion, professionalism, and a gentle touch. She is committed to forming life-long relationships with her patients built on mutual respect, knowledge, and trust. She has been practicing in Monroe and Ypsilanti since 2017.
When not wearing her white coat, she can be found cooking or traveling with her husband and her two boys.
Cori Crider, DDS, earned her dental degree with honors from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, after earning her bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University. She has additional training from the Pankey Institute with an emphasis on temporomandibular jaw joint disorders and bitesplint therapy. Dr. Crider has completed an 18-month residency program with the American Academy of Integrative Medicine and Dentistry so she can offer better options in holistic and biologic dentistry to her patients.
Dr. Crider supports her community with donations to local women’s shelters and a support house for abused and homeless children and teens. She and her husband Michael have two adult children, and in her spare time, she enjoys traveling, wildlife photography, cooking, and gardening.
